Vietnam National University, Hanoi, 2012 This thesis reports the results of the survey conducted in twenty primary schools in Hadong to find out the difficulties in teaching English for grade one perceived by the teachers. The focus is on professional support that the teachers received to teach English at primary schools. The teachers’ difficulties will be revealed from questionnaires (for which a total of forty teachers in twenty primary schools in Hadong gave responses), and observational data collected in ten primary schools. The study results indicate that a large number of teachers lack English teaching methodology for children, teacher professional training course, classroom management skills. Once the difficulties in teaching English for 1st grade in Hadong district is generated, some suggestions and solutions will be given to Giúp teachers overcome those difficulties they are confronting Electronic Resources |
