In the researcher’s experience, this problem comes largely from the fact that these learners lack of practice tasks from their teachers of English regarding different pronunciation aspects. This has urged the researcher to carry out the present study, aiming at finding answers to three research questions: (1)What are the students’ most common problems regarding English consonant sounds? (2)What are the possible reasons that lead to students’ weak pronunciation of English? (3) How can focused tasks improve students’ English pronunciation?.
