Vietnam National University, Hanoi, 2011 A computer multimedia courseware has been used as a supplementary learning tool in HUBT, to complement face-to-face classes, online tutorials and lecture notes. This paper reports on an evaluation of this courseware in relation to the incorporated instructional, screen and interface designs. The evaluation was conducted through students' assessments of these designs based on various attributes that included the content, the organization and presentation of the content, the Design factors and the students’ reference. Generally, the results show that the courseware is effective as a supplementary learning material. The outcome of the evaluation on each attribute is discussed especially where it pertained to the improvement of the quality of teaching as well as the development of other types of courseware for instructional purposes. The focus of this study was to develop and evaluate a courseware “Functioning in Business” on students’ attitude in learning English.
