Miêu tả: | When teaching listening skill to tenth form students at Lê Viết Tạo High School, the author of this research found out that most of the students were not interested in post-listening activities. The research was conducted with objectives: (1) to investigate teachers and students’ attitudes towards teaching and learning task-based post-listening activities; (2) to find out their benefits and difficulties perceived in carrying out these activities; (3) to propose some useful task-based post-listening activities and to evaluate effectiveness of these activities. Survey questionnaires, class observations and interviews were employed to find out answers to three research objectives. Qualitative and quantitative methods were mainly used to collect and analyze data. The findings of the research revealed that both teachers and students had positive attitudes towards teaching and learning post-listening activities with application of TBLT approach. Although most of them were aware of the benefits of teaching and learning these activities, they faced with difficulties in carrying out these activities such as students’ low proficiency, time constrains, large class size, unsuitable activities, etc. After experimental teaching of the task-based post-listening activities, which have been designed by the author, most of students were more interested in learning these activities and they felt more confident to participate in Electronic Resources M.A. Thesis.
