WarBirds: Dogfights is an action-air combat game for PC and Mac platforms that puts players in the cockpit of the greatest World War II (WWII) air combat planes during the pivotal battles of the war. The game features the ability to engage in dogfights as a member of either the Allies or Axis powers, more than 100 realistically modeled WWII aircraft and realistic game environments from both the European and Pacific battle theaters of WWII. In addition, players can expect constant diversity in mission play and deep replay value via a dynamic game engine and access to one-month of free playing time for the classic massive multiplayer online game (MMOG), WarBirds.
In WarBirds: Dogfights players can take to the air as a member of either the Allies or Axis powers in the historic air battles in both the European and Pacific theaters of WWII. Once ready to log some time in live fire combat scenarios they choose one of three levels of pilot expertise: Rookie, Pilot, or the highly skilled Ace, as they take off in one of more than 100 historically accurate aircraft. Gameplay environments included in the game are historical recreations of WWII areas of England, Europe, and North Africa, including cities like London, Paris, and Berlin. Also present are areas representing Pacific battle campaigns, the battle for the Philippines, Midway and more. The game features more than 40 base combat missions, as well as dynamic mission generation functionality which ensures virtually unlimited mission play options in single player mode. In each battle the player can score points, build rank, and acquire medals to compete for the coveted title of WGFP — Worlds' Greatest Fighter Pilot in the air battles of WWII.

This Disk contains all the files needed to fly WARBIRDS DOGFIGHTS on a PC OR MAC.
Installation requires approximately 2GB of free hard-drive space. All files are installed to the hard-drive, there is no need to have the game disk inserted into your computer after installation.
We strongly suggest that you do not try to cài/ Update / Play the game with anti-virus programs, firewalls, pop-up stoppers or other background programs running. Alternatively in some cases you can relax your settings for these programs. Please consult the specific program manual or Vendor for additional assistance.
You may have to update your access permissions for your Anti-Virus or Firewall if you want to run them while playing. Contact your AV program vendor for assistance.
WINDOWS 98 and Me Users: These Windows Operating systems are no longer supported.
To make sure you have everything click your Update button while connected to the internet after you are finished installing.
To play online start the game in OFFLINE mode, click Play Online and login with your LoginID and Password.

If you already have DirectX installed on your computer, there is usually no need

1. Insert the Installation Disk into your PC CD/DVD-ROM drive. The setup should start automatically.
2. If the setup does not start automatically, open the PC folder on the CD/DVD-ROM and double-click the setup.exe file.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
** INSTALLING WARBIRDS DOGFIGHTS MAC **
1. Insert the Installation Disk into your MAC DVD-ROM drive.
2. Locate and open the INSTALLMAC folder on the DVD-ROM and click the WarbirdsDogfightsMac.pkg file to càiWarbirds Dogfights.
3. Please review the README file before starting installation.
4. The installation will default to your Applications folder, creating a WarbirdsDogfights.app in the Applications folder. If you choose another location to install, please take care to remember it so you can locate the WarbirdsDogfights.app after installation!
