- During the lesson.

A. Warm- up: Chatting:
- Give some questions to Ss:
B. Presentation:
1. A1: Listen and read:
- Explain the new words:
head shoulder arm chest leg
toe foot hand finger
- Show the picture to Ss.
- Play the tape for Ss to practice listening to the pronunciation of the new word.
- Get Ss to practice pronouncing after.
- Call some Ss to practice pronouncing aloud.
- T calls 1 S to go in front of the class and ask Ss to say the name of the part of a body where T points to.

2. A2: Practice:
- Ask Ss to study the examples.
- Give some more real examples to make clear:
S1: What is that ?
S2: That is a head.
S1: What are those ?
S2: They are fingers.

II: Preparation:

III. Teaching procedures:
1. Class organization.
2. Oral test:
- During the lesson.
3. New lesson:
A. Warm- up: Hangman:

B. Presentation:
1. A 3: Listen and read:
- Ss look at the pictures and guess the new words.
- T explains the new words:
tall >< short Thin >< fat heavy >< light
- Give some examples to make clear the way to practice those adjectives:

Nam is fat.
Nga is thin.
- Ss listen to the tape, then practice reading the sentences silently.
- Call some Ss to practice reading aloud.
- Ask some Ss to use the words in the text to describe some of their friends.
- Give some remarks.
2. A4: Listen, then choose the right picture:
- Present the tasks.
- Ask Ss to look at the pictures, then describe the people in the pictures.
- Play the tape twice, ask Ss to listen and choose the pictures that are described.
- Give feed back.
- Play the tape once again for Ss to check their answers.
- Give the right answers.
A 5: Listen and read:
- Explain the way to practice.
- Give the explaination to the new words:

- Ss listen to the tape twice.
- Ss practice reading on thewir own.
